Rental Basics
Q: What vehicles do you rent?
A: We currently offer Black Chevrolet Suburbans in the new body style & trim.
Q: What are your rental rates?
A: Daily: $120 | Weekly: $650 | Monthly: $2,500 | Refundable Security Deposit: $300 (conditions apply).
Q: What is the minimum rental period?
A: Rentals require a 3-day minimum.
Policies & Fees
Q: What is included in the rental?
A: Unlimited mileage, renter-provided insurance, and standard contract protections.
Q: Do I need insurance to rent a vehicle?
A: Yes. You must either: provide proof of valid auto insurance, OR purchase our $300 “Bumper to Bumper Full Coverage Insurance.”
Q: What is your late return policy?
A: $25 per hour or a full day’s rate, whichever is cheaper.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Only the $300 security deposit is refundable if cancelled at least 24 hours prior to pick-up. Rental fees are non-refundable.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes, with a $100 pet fee.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No. A $150 smoking fee applies if smoking occurs in the vehicle.
Q: What if I lose the keys?
A: Lost or unreturned keys incur a $1,000 fee.
Q: What about tolls and tickets?
A: The renter is fully responsible for all tolls, parking tickets, and traffic violations during the rental.
Security Deposit
Q: When is my deposit refunded?
A: Your $300 deposit is refunded if: NO damages, gas refilled, vehicle is clean (or $100 cleaning fee applies), and returned in same condition. Deductions may be made for cleaning, smoking, pet, tolls, tickets, lost keys, or repairs.
Breakdowns & Roadside Assistance
Q: What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
A: If the vehicle stops operating, you must notify Black Truck Rental LLC immediately. If the breakdown is due to a mechanical failure (not caused by you), we will arrange roadside assistance or provide a replacement vehicle if available. Rental fees for unused days will be prorated and refunded at our discretion. If the issue is caused by renter negligence (dead battery, flat tire, running out of fuel, keys locked inside), you are responsible for all costs and no refunds will be issued.
Q: Do you offer roadside assistance?
A: Yes. If you request Black Truck Rental LLC to arrange roadside service, a $50 Roadside Assistance Fee will be applied and deducted from your security deposit.
Prohibited Uses
Q: What is strictly prohibited?
A: Illegal substances, contraband, firearms, human trafficking, racing, off-road use, or carrying passengers for hire. Discovery will result in immediate termination without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.
Payments & Authorization
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We require a valid credit/debit card on file.
Q: Will my card be charged automatically?
A: Yes. By signing the rental agreement, you authorize Black Truck Rental LLC to charge your card for any damages, fees, or penalties.
Legal Q: What if part of the agreement isn’t enforceable?
A: Our Severability Clause ensures all other provisions remain in effect.
Payments & Verification
Q: Do I need to bring the same card I used to book the rental?
A: Yes. The same card used to book must be presented at pickup along with a valid government-issued ID. If you do not bring the same card, your rental may be canceled without refund.
